For the price, this was the best solution to my problem. I needed a "riser" for my notebook to get the screen more at eye level and avoid neck strain. This was a low-cost solution and works great for that purpose. I've gotten an extra 4" in height (could go higher, but this seems perfect). Not even using the fans (mostly because I don't have an extra USB port), but the openings for the fans provide decent ventilation anyway.
